“Lots of people have identified the lack of a coherent creative community in Manchester and various solutions have been proposed. There are new networking groups and revamped trade associations springing up here and there, but In Conversation With offers something a bit different. I think ICW could be a great focal point for conversations about the development of the creative industries in this region.
I always enjoy sharing my opinions, so getting some time on the couch with an audience was great fun. But I was hugely impressed with the level of interaction that the slot achieved, with live questions coming in. My colleagues don’t always pay much attention to my media appearances, but they all watched this one. And since then, I’ve had a number of people reference it back to me. Overall, I’d recommend it to anyone.”
