Below is a link and an excerpt from Oxfam’s blog about their fantastic show garden at Tatton Park this year. Little Orchard was invited to bring some cameras along to film the garden in all its glory. We covered both the behind the scenes and the press day, along with some vox pops and interviews.
The final end result [a version of which is seen here] is to be publshd by Oxfam on their website and YouTube channel in August…
but as you can see, some of the films are already growing interest.
When the Waters Rise at Tatton Park: behind the scenes

The Oxfam garden has not only won a golden medal in the show gardens section of the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park. It also has won the hearts and minds of hundreds of people who have visited the show so far. The public loves our garden and loves the way it celebrates women growers around the world.
If you were watching BBC Gardeners’ World last night, you might have already got an idea of the amount of hard work and loving care that Dori Miller, her son Howard, her friends and neighbours have put in to make sure that the garden happened. And let’s not forget all the sponsors and the volunteers across the North of England who, over the last few months, grew the plants and vegetables which are featuring in the garden- they are award winners too!
