Why are we surprised when we get cheap?

Why are we surprised when, having paid cheap for something we get a cheap product? It’s as if we expect our supplier to say no, no, you pay peanuts and instead of monkeys, we’ll give you the whole forest!

It’s technical term round here is ‘moon on a stick’.

Let’s get real world now people. Yes, you can get a video from us from as little as £950. It will be basic, professionally shot, clean and simple. It won’t be a Hollywood production. And should it be?

You’d be surprised what a basic, professionally shot, clean, simple case study or testimonial can achieve. One of our clients had a video of this type and boosted his organisation’s membership by 50%.

On the other hand, another client paid £10,000 for a set of videos to an even greater success scoring a number of new clients from the resulting DVD. And what’s more those clients are paying full ticket price. His service was an expensive one so he recognised he had to pay for a quality video product to acurately reflect his offering.

People, do not be surprised if you pay cheap, you get cheap. Instead, stop and consider what is the right price for the right video product?
